Parish Council |
|
The Parish Council members meet on the first Thursday of each month at 7.30pm in the Village Hall. In accordance with the usual rules you may attend the meetings, but are not invited to take part in the Councils deliberations, unless you give 10 days notice to the parish clerk. However, there is an Annual General Meeting usually held in May or June (dates are advertised in advance) in which parishioners are very welcome to take part. The Parish Council is made up of a Chairman and Vice Chairman, and 5 others, all of which work voluntarily on behalf of all parishioners. Some of the issues discussed and actioned include planning applications, ongoing communications with Highways, Neighbourhood Watch Schemes, Health and Safety within the Parish and organising events such as litter picking days etc. If you have any issues you would like to bring to the Parish Council's attention please contact the clerk.
